We would like to thank Darylee for the 13 wonderful years of hard work, service and dedication. Darylee began working with Dr. Hadley 13 years ago and her skills and expertise are unmatched in our office and her commitment to the profession of oral health is extraordinary. Darylee gave 39 and a half years to the profession! She will be greatly missed by Dr. Hadley, our entire team, and every one of our 1700 patients.

In support of his Las Vegas cosmetic dentistry practice, Dr. Hadley recently passed the written portion of the accreditation process with the American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). As he remains committed to providing the highest level of restorative and cosmetic dental care, Dr. Hadley will also be attending the annual American Dental Association conference in Orlando, FL, as well as continuing education courses at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) in Boston, MA. In light of all the activity, Dr. Hadley says he is excited to continue honing his clinical skills to provide the comprehensive dental care his patients deserve.

Our very own Las Vegas dentist, Jeffery Hadley DDS was featured in a recent Las Vegas Business Press news article. Dr. Hadley was one of a handful of Las Vegas business owners asked to answer a question on the topic of a double recession, here is what he had to say:
Many economists and business people are concerned that the economy is not rebounding strongly enough. Are you worried about the economy slipping into a “double recession?”
“Yes, most definitely. As the current Congress and administration pass more and more laws to discourage business, especially small- to medium-size business, and the tax burden continues to rise for those businesses and our families, the result will be obvious: recession. It’s a simple formula. Double the burden, double the recession.”

What can I do about seriously discolored teeth?
Teeth of any shade can be corrected. Simple tooth whitening satisfies the majority of patients, however in the case of multi-color or brown teeth, or those affected by Tetracycline stains, veneers may be the answer. Today’s veneers so closely mimic nature; no one will suspect they aren’t “yours.” They can also enhance a tooth’s overall shape and simulate proper alignment.

According to Dr. Jeffery W. Hadley, expectations of those seeking cosmetic dentistry are sky high, and his joy is found in delivering beautiful results. From the simplest replacement to advanced restorative work, his busy, referral -based practice is testimony to his personal, meticulous approach. “The challenge is replicating nature. To me, a great result lies in improving form and function without leaving my fingerprints behind. The smartest thing I ever did was go to the USC School of dentist ry. There I learned the artistic and clinical sides of restorative dentistry and how to make dramatic improvements.”

What is unique about your training?
I graduated in 1993 and joined the Navy, where I began my general practice residency. That experience gave me tremendous self-confidence. After taking care of 2,000 Marines, nothing scares me.
What procedure is your favorite to perform?
Placing porcelain veneers is one of my favorites. The first-generation veneers were opaque and so one dimensional they were visually distracting. Today, our ceramists create lifelike veneers that are literally undetectable.
In what ways are you a leader?
Leading by example is the best teaching tool. Patients and staff know I have a sincere interest in them personally and that sets the tone for trust. We’re not learning as we go.
What does being a cosmetic dentist mean to you?
Life is about service and this is my chance to do my part in helping people.

When Dr. Hadley hears a patient complain about their teeth being too short, or gums too pronounced, they’re describing a “gummy smile.” The good news is that it’s a condition that’s easily treated. “The first thing we do is measure the cuff of the gum. A healthy cuff or collar is 1 to 3 mm of tissue. After 3 mm there may be redundant tissue covering the teeth.” Here Dr. Hadley uses a wand with radio waves to remove excess tissue and expose the healthy white teeth underneath. “The procedure takes 30 minutes including anesthesia time and there’s no bleeding or discomfort.” A toothbrush is swapped for a cotton swab for a few days while the gums heal, and within a week, a new smile is revealed. “Less often, the patient may have shorter than normal teeth. In that case dental veneers or direct composite resin will correct their appearance. Sometimes a combination of the two creates a gorgeous smile. In either case, it’s an easy fix.”
